The Korean Series is now even as Doosan Bears won Game 2, 5-4. Kim Jae-ho hit his first postseason homer and got a single RBI to help the Bears level the series at a game each. It was Kim’s 79th KBO postseason appearance.
He hit the solo homer off NC Dinos pitcher Koo Chang-mo in the fourth inning. Also, Doosan pitcher Chris Flexen got his first Korean Series win after limiting the Dinos to a single run over six innings. He gave out five hits and struck out three Dinos, and walked three.
NC Dinos started a comeback in the ninth inning. They rallied with three runs before the Bears managed to close out the game. According to gambling reviews, Game 3 will be on Friday at the Gocheok SkyDome.
Doosan Bears Won Game 2
Doosan Bears scored two runs in the second inning with various grounders against Koo. With runners at both first and second, Park Kun-woo hit towards Park Sok-min in the third base. Park had to run towards the ball to get it. However, he had a hard time controlling the ball from his glove based on sports news coverage.
According to sports wagering reports, Park threw it too low to skip first base Kang Jin-sung. Thus, Kim Jae-ho went home from the second base. The next batter was Heo Kyoung-min. His grounder allowed Jose Miguel Fernandez to score and put his team up by two.
The Dinos managed to score at the bottom of the second inning with Kwon Hul-dong’s solo RBI. However, the team missed a chance to score with bases loaded. Flexen walked slugger Aaron Altherr to load the bases. However, Kang Jin-sung swung on the first toss that grounded into a double play.
Koo was awarded the loss for the game. He gave up three runs on seven hits. Also, he gave two walks in six innings.
