Korean football team Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors are making headlines in sports news as they move closer to the knockout spot in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League. There are high hopes for Korean teams in some sports betting predictions, and rightfully so. Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors beat the Urawa Red Diamonds of Japan with a 2-1 score. The match was for the Group G in the AFC Champions league.

As for the Champions League, the top two clubs from each of the 8 groups will qualify for the round of 16. Jeonbuk aims to grab their first AFC title since 2016. It could also be their third overall title.
Jeonbuk and Urawa played against each other two weeks ago as well. Jeonbuk won 1-0 then. Hopefully Jeonbuk can maintain their status in the topmost, or second, of Group G, so they can advance to the round of 16. Their chances seem pretty good so far.

For instance, Gyeongnam FC won their first ever Champions League match when they won 1-0 in Japan. They played against the Kashima Antlers at the Kashima Stadium. Ironically, the lone goal of the Korean team was made by Japanese midfielder, Takahiro Kunimoto. It was close as well, since the goal happened at the 63rd minute. Now, Gyeongnam is on the winning side of their grouping. They have two wins and a draw. Not bad for being in the AFC for the first time.
