The latest football news is sad for Gyeongnam FC as they lose to the Kashima Antlers in a 3-2 match in the Asian Champions League. Of course, if you bet on Gyeongnam FC and the odds were favorable for or against, then winners were earning money that night. The match was held at the Changwon Football Center, on a rainy Tuesday night.
The Kashima Antlers are the only club who holds an undefeated record in Group E. But not all was a victory for the club. Kwoun Sun-tae injured his leg during the first half of the match, leaving the club short of a good goalkeeper.

This was a sad match for Inukai. He was only able to open scoring during the second half with an own goal. The club’s defender was heading toward his net and was trying to cut off the cross of Takahiro Kunimoto. Japanese midfielder Kunimoto is relatively new to Gyeongnam FC, having joined the team last year.
Kunimoto then led his team to lead with a 2-0 score during the 71st minute. He did so by sending a corner kick, while midfielder Jordon Mutch volleyed the ball home. Meanwhile, Hiroke Abe and Kanamori stepped up to fill the absence of veteran players from Kashima. They were able to reduce the deficit 15 minutes before the match was to end. The match was tied when Kanamori scored directly in the first minute during additional time. Meanwhile, minute 93 marked the lead for the visiting team, where Serinho scored from inside.
Gyeongnam FC needs a lot more aggressiveness from the offense. Kashima had almost 60% of the possession throughout the match. Scoring on both sides were not so good during the first half, thankfully the pace picked up towards the second half and on overtime.
