Also, it is the first time that the KBO will start its postseason in November. The regular season ends on October 30. According to Korea Sports News reports, the postseason will begin with the Wild Card Game on November 1.
The Number 4 and Number 5 teams from the regular season will compete in the KBO Wild Card Game. The Number 4 team only needs a win or tie in Game 1. Also, the Number 5 team needs to win two games to advance to the next round.
KBO Playoffs Start with Wild Card Series
According to online gambling South Korea sources, the Wild Card Series winner will face the Number 3 team from the regular season. The best of three series will begin on November 4. The series winner will move to the best-of-five round against the number 2 team on November 9.

All playoff games will be played at the Gocheok Sky Dome starting the second round. During that time, the weather will be cold, and Gocheok Sky Dome is the only domed stadium in South Korea.
