Today, the 2022 Global Gaming Expo Asia (G2E Asia) is taking place at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. According to gambling news, this is the first time since 2019 that thousands of attendees will be coming in person. This is because of the COVID-19 pandemic made it impossible to hold the event in person for 2020 and 2021.

The 2022 Global Gaming Expo Asia Special Edition: Day 1
This year, the Global Gaming Expo has been officially dubbed, G2E Asia 2022 Special Edition: Singapore. The conference will feature over 70 exhibitors and thousands of attendees over the next three days. According to sports betting sites, it will feature content about the latest market trends, innovative gambling products and regulatory requirements.
The conference opener began with Ed Bowers, president and chief executive of MGM Resorts Japan LLC as the keynote speaker.
Furthermore, one interesting session came from Praveen Choudhary, Managing Director of Morgan Stanley Asia. This is because he spoke about the effects of the pandemic on Macau and Asia as a whole. However, what stood out the most was his confidence that Macau would bounce back by 2024.
Another popular event at the G2E is the Smart IR and Innovation Zone. This is because it will demonstrate new products and solutions to help gaming professionals. Furthermore, it will have an exhibitor profile spanning across AI and business intelligence for integrated resorts.
Of course, the convention will also have a Health & Hygiene Pavilion. According to online gambling operators, it will showcase measures to help casino resorts and gaming operators mitigate Covid-19 related risks.
The second day of G2E Asia will include commentary on investment opportunities in integrated resorts in the Asia-Pacific region.
