The casino project in Ras Al Khaimah was announced by Wynn Resorts, which has since trademarked the terms “Arabian Strip” and “Marjan Strip” for use in connection with their planned resort and gaming complex. Arabian Business’ sister journal Hotelier Middle East announced on Friday that the trademarks filed by the Vegas hotel company last year had been approved for registration.
The 6.8-kilometer Las Vegas strip is famous for its modern architecture, bright lights, and array of attractions, and is home to some of the world’s largest hotels, casinos, and resort resorts.
A Grand Prix race in the heart of Las Vegas has been scheduled for November 16-18, 2023, after F1 made the announcement last year.
The Arabian Strip
According to online casino reports, the government of Ras Al Khaimah is now enacting gaming legislation for the casino, modeling them after those of Singapore and the United States. The casino at Wynn Marjan, which is scheduled to open in 2026 in Ras Al Khaimah, will reportedly cover an area of about 18,500 square meters.
This would virtually treble the size of Wynn’s Las Vegas resort, making it one of the world’s 10 largest casinos.
Billings stated on the Q3 2022 earnings conference that the project had “a very high return potential for us we expect,” suggesting that Wynn was devoting significant resources to it. So, that’s where our current R&D efforts are concentrated.
