The Minnesota Twins are fast becoming a top favorite in the AL Central for those into baseball betting. Especially if the Angels are still going to play like their opener against the Twins.

In the opener for this series, the Twins opened the 1-1 game with a two-run homer from Miguel Sano. The bottom half and other plays brings us injuries with Andrelton Simmons and Shohei Ohtani going down and out. Simmons had a particularly nasty ankle twist there. Fortunately, his x-rays were negative, although he may be on the injured list for a while. As for Ohtani, his x-rays are also negative after his right finger got struck in a pitch. But with these two players out for the game, the Angels will have a hard time winning.
You also have Martin Perez (6-1, 2.89) surprising us with such a great season compared to last season’s horrible 6.22 ERA. Now, Perez has allowed more than three earned once. It could be a fluke, snice he is walking too many players with 22 in 53 innings, though.
Looking at how the roster is turning out, the Angels are short two players, good ones at that. And while Perez may or may not deliver, the weak roster of the Angels may just allow the twins to pull of the win. We would recommend that you back the Twins here as they play at 10:07 pm ET.
