Challenges Kang Jung-ho will face if he wants to Play in the KBO again

Kang Jung-ho is coming back to South KoreaKiwoom Heroes Betting fans will soon know the intentions of Kang and returning to his former team.  This is because Leeco Sports Agency, Kang’s agent said he would be holding a press conference after his quarantine.  Thus, Kang fans will have to a few more weeks to see what his future in the KBO will be.

Unfortunately, Kang did not leave the Kiwoom Heroes nor the KBO with a good reputation back in 2015.  This is because of drunk driving accidents from 2009, 2011 and 2016 which led to a one-year suspension for Kang. In addition, there is the issue of Kang Jung-ho not being a free agent.

According to sports wagering experts, when Kang left for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2015, he was still under contract. Thus, the Heroes still own the rights to Kang playing in the KBO.  Therefore, they must first reactive him from the “voluntarily retired” list before he can play again.

Furthermore, there is still the issue of the punishment he was given by the KBO for his drunk driving accidents. Kang was given a one-year suspension by the KBO and it will go into effect once Kang signs a deal.

In the end, the decision to reinstate Kang will be up to the Kiwoom Heroes.  At the point, they can decide to sign him for their team or trade him to another Korean baseball team.
